An employee searches through drawers and under paperwork for needed supplies.  A team member struggles to find a document on the shared drive. Production comes to a halt when required tools can’t be found. All of these situations represent wasted time that directly impacts a company’s bottom line and its ability to meet customer needs. The challenge is that while most people would like to create an organized work space, very few have an effective method of doing so. In this session, learn a practical and systematic approach to implementing the 5S system for workplace organization.

During this workshop, participants will learn:

  • The many benefits of maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Step-by-step instructions on how to implement the 5S system
  • The most common mistakes made during 5S sessions and how to avoid them
  • Simple tools for fostering collaboration, preparing for change, and do’s and don’ts for delivery

This session is geared towards individuals interested in or tasked with leading improvement efforts within their organization.
